Every founder journey starts with a moment of frustration. Mine came while watching recruiters in the Gulf juggle Excel sheets, WhatsApp chats, outdated ATS systems, and CVs that hadn't been updated since 2019.

It wasn't just inefficient. It was exhausting to watch. And the deeper I got into the problem, the clearer the answer became: recruitment didn't need another tool. It needed a teammate or an infrastructure. Someone who could actually do the work, not just organize it.

That's why we built Oxxi.

The reality gap in MENA hiring
